I’ve always been a child of nature. I like to dedicate a great portion of my lifestyle to food, materials and products that naturally occur on our planet. I like to think that the Earth and I are at peace every single day, because of my daily choices.
Lately, however, I’ve taken an interest in the endless matter that exists beyond what humans know. I’ve always thought that space was beautiful, but the stars’ alignment and the inevitability of undiscovered life have molded my interest into a fascination. I am a very logical thinker and, in my opinion, there is nothing more logical than astrology.
When we pinpoint our births to a physical places and times, we learn so much about our individual selves and how others perceive us. The science of astrology is comforting because it has helped me view all personalities as deliberate and unique. I find beauty in the way our alignment gives us different abilities and perspectives, and guides us through human interaction. *If you are intrigued, use this link to find your astrological birth chart!
This look book-of-sorts is a collection of statement pieces that I would love to own to compliment both the Winter weather and my brain’s celestial state. The title Stargirl was 100% inspired by musical artist The Weeknd‘s upcoming album “Starboy.” The “Starboy”single is one of my favorites by The Weeknd, whom I have loved for quite some time. You should give it a listen if you live under a rock.
All of these pieces are from Free People. This post was partially inspired by a starry look book the brand emailed me last week, but I browsed the entire website to compile this look book. You will also see inspiration from our moon, our sky and other aspects of nature in this post. I hope you enjoy!
Maggie Crochet Cardi– I especially love this piece because the colors and pattern remind me of the drawing style I have recently been into.
Wrap Me Up Faux Fur Jacket *Vegan!
Disclaimer* I’m not actually Florence Welsh. I cannot afford a $950 cardigan, and I do not expect most Sissues readers to have access this kind of bread. I also choose not to wear some of the materials that make up these pieces for ethical reasons. This is strictly an outlet for aesthetic inspiration in the name of fashion.
Do what you want and wear what you want!
Thank you so much for reading, you beautiful human being
